Deal AI now suggests changes you apply in one click, your whole team can work through AI Connect, and imported request lists keep their structure.
Ask Deal AI to add requests for the last three years of tax returns, mark a batch as completed, assign items to a teammate, move a request, comment, or ask the seller a question. It doesn't change anything on its own: it shows a card listing each proposed change, with before and after where it helps, and Apply and Cancel buttons. Click Apply and the change is made as you, with your usual permissions, and recorded in the deal's activity log. Related changes come together in one card, and a suggestion expires after a day so nothing stale gets applied.
Contributors with a subscription can now make changes through a connected AI assistant too, within what the deal's contributor settings allow — commenting, Q&A, status, priority, due dates and assignments, plus creating, editing and moving requests or uploading files when the deal permits it. Viewers stay read-only.
Connected assistants can also do a lot more: read file summaries, the activity feed and your assignments; ask and answer Q&A; update many requests at once; restore deleted requests and files; tag files and mark them confidential; add written responses; and apply templates. Owners and admins can manage the team and create share and upload links from the chat. Deleting, sending invites, removing access or creating a link outsiders can open always needs your confirmation first.
Import Template now reads existing request lists far more faithfully. It finds the header row even under titles and instructions, turns a category column into sections, turns outline numbering like 1, 1.1 and 1.1.1 into sections and requests, keeps a multi-line cell as one request, drops placeholder rows such as "TBD" or "N/A", and groups a list with no headings into sections by topic. Priorities like "Critical" or "ASAP" import as Urgent.
